Rise Against Hunger

Every year we host a meal packaging with Rise Against Hunger (riseagainsthunger.org) and marshal a dozen organizations and over 100 volunteers to assemble packages that constitute an entire base meal. During the 2-hour event we package over 20,000 meals, to be distributed across the world in the fight against hunger; immediate assistance in the face of disaster remains a crucial component to ending hunger as well. In 7 years, we have packaged over 150,000 meals in total. This event is held each February.
