Anclote Key Lighthouse Work Day

Every year our club looks for ways to execute hands-on projects to beautify our community and support our environment. Over a dozen Rotarians boated out to Anclote Key and spent 3 hours replacing the boardwalk and trimming bushes and shrubs to help clean up the lighthouse area, as it was being prepared for spring “open house” times for the public to visit and tour the lighthouse. 

Anclote Key Lighthouse is one of only two working lighthouses in the Tampa/St. Pete area. The lighthouse is supported by the Friends of Anclote Key State Park, https://www.anclotecso.org.
